Formatting Examples

Below are some text formatting examples. You can see the wiki markup used to create them, by clicking on "Show in raw mode" in the toolbox to the left, or by clicking "edit this page".

Note: please don't change any of these examples, even though the page is editable.

Note that word wrapping is not the same on the page as it is in the edit window.

Paragraph breaks are automatic -

when you leave a blank line between sentences.

  • this is a bullet
  • this is bold
  • this is italic
  • this is code (monospace font)

  • here are
    • nested
    • bullets

this is a section header [edit section]

this is a sub-section header [edit section]

definition
here is the definition of the word
list
you can put them in lists that look nice

This text is indented
   and wrapped
     exactly the same as
 in the edit window
That's called a block of text.

And you can make links to page: like the Front Page (on this site), or to other websites like https://www.google.com/. You can also use different words on the page, instead of the link address, like this: Google.

You can include an image on your page.

You can also make tables:
