The object of the game is to outscore the opponent team. There are 2 ways to score, shooting or making a layup/dunking. Usually, a team will pass the ball around in order to find a gap in the defense. In the NBA, teams are so good at shooting, passing, and dunking that they score up to 130 points on any given night.
