Grandma and I went to a special space training center. There, we learned about the rocket and spaceship we would be traveling in. We learned about the food we would eat, and the special space suits we would wear on the moon. The teachers told us all about the trip, including safety instructions in case something should go wrong.

We also got to experiment with different forces we would feel. We went in a special machine that spun us around really fast, so we felt really heavy. We spent time in a pool in special suits to see what it would be like to float in space.

We met the crew, who are the people taking us on the trip and traveling with us in the ship. We also met the other passengers, and learned about the groups we would be in, and where we would stay on the ship.
