When the day came to start our journey, we traveled to the rocket and space ship, which were standing on platform next to a very tall tower. The space ship was gigantic. We had to ride an elevator to the top, where we walked across a bridge to get to the door of the spaceship.

We went into the spaceship and found our assigned seats. Everyone was nervous. They had a countdown, and the rocket started shaking, and launched into the air. It was very loud, and as the rocket started going fast we felt very heavy. Pretty soon we were out in space, and we could see darkness and the planet Earth out the window.
