Table Help

The Table processor allows the declaration of a table in the TBWiki system. It can be used to specify a table configuration, as well as the data for a table.

See DocTables in the TBWiki documentation area, for detail about tables, including types, configuration settings, data formats, spreadsheet functionality, etc.

table types [edit section]

The Table module can read data from the block contents, or from one or more wiki pages. The data base be formatted in many different ways, including double-square-brace (or 'MoinMoin') format, attrdb format, or wiki page format. Also, the data_scan module can be used to gather information and present it in a read-only table.

An individual table can be configured so that it's contents are interpreted as spreadsheet cells.

table editing [edit section]

Some tables allow for editing their content, either on a row-by-row basis using automatically generated (or custom-defined) forms, or as a matrix of cells.

table views [edit section]

Tables can be displayed using different views, which can be defined using a fixed query configuration, or a user query specified at runtime. A view supports sorting individual columns, filtering by cell values, coloring cells based on expressions, and other features.

Please see the Table documentation for details.
